History
The History of HAS Children's Foundation
Founded with the belief that every young person and their family deserves an equal opportunity to thrive, HAS quickly became a beacon of hope for a new generation of young people and their families in need.
HAS-CF UGANDA
The HAS Children's Foundation (HAS-CF) began its journey from Uganda in 1979, driven by a vision to transform lives through health, education, and skills.
In its early years, the foundation focused primarily on healthcare services, addressing the immediate needs of young people and families in underserved communities. By collaborating with local healthcare providers and community leaders, HAS was able to offer essential medical care and support to those who would otherwise have limited access to healthcare.
We are fundraising to construct a resourcful Children's Health facility to provide swift access to quality healthcare to the young generation who lack the medical attention the desparatly need. HAS Children's Hospital aims to change that. With your support, we can build a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing life-saving care to children in need.
Expansion to Scotland
As HAS Children's Foundation's impact in Uganda grew, so did its ambition. Recognizing the universal need for quality healthcare, education, religion, and skills, HAS expanded its operations beyond Uganda, establishing a presence in the United Kingdom. The move marked a pivotal moment in the foundation's history, as it aimed to leverage international partnerships and resources to further its mission.
In the United Kingdom, HAS plans to work closely with local and international stakeholders, establishing partnerships with global health organizations and educational institutions. This expansion will work HAS to broaden its reach and provide comprehensive support to young people and their families, both in Uganda and the UK. The foundation’s UK office now serves as a hub for its international operations.
Expansion to England
The London office serves as a hub for international collaborations, Plans to work with healthcare professionals and institutions to provide better medical support to children in Uganda. The foundation also uses its presence in the UK to increase global awareness and build partnerships with multinational corporations.

To uplift the new generation with skills, health and education. All this will be achieved through the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, the advancement of health or the saving of lives, and the advancement of amateur sport.

Since our inception, HAS Children's Foundation looks forward to making significant strides in improving lives.
We plan to provide medical care to over 50,000 children, establish 10 schools in underserved areas, and implement sustainable water projects in 20 communities. Our nutrition programs will work to reduce malnutrition rates by 40% in our target areas. Through our efforts, we anticipate a 30% increase in school attendance and a 25% reduction in preventable childhood diseases.
